New Delhi: 'Game Of Thrones' stars Kit Harrington and his wife Rose Leslie have welcomed their second child. The birth of their second kid has now been officially announced by the actor's representative.
“They’re delighted to have welcomed a little girl into the family,” said the actor's representative.
While working together on the HBO series 'Game Of Thrones' in 2012, Kit and Rose got romantically involved. The couple got hitched in 2018. Early in 2021, the two actors welcomed a son into the world as their first child. The name of the couple's first child has not yet been disclosed.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kit revealed that he and Rose were expecting their second child in February. The actor previously admitted that he felt nervous about having a second child. “You know, with the first baby, you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months — well, the man is, anyway. But this time, the reality check comes much shorter. You get practical real quick,” he told Fallon.
Meanwhile, a spin-off series about Jon Snow, which was announced in June 2022, will feature Kit as the lead. Kit was the one who brought up the idea to everyone engaged in the production, according to fantasy adventure series writer George RR Martin. Fans of 'Game of Thrones' are eagerly anticipating the spin-off series, which was revealed last year. But no information regarding the forthcoming show has been made official.
On the work front, Kit also made an appearance in the films 'Baby Ruby' and 'Eternals'. Rose's most recent appearances were in the movie picture 'Death on the Nile' and the HBO series 'The Time Traveler's Wife'.
