New Delhi: Global pop star Ed Sheeran collaborated with Indian playback singer Arijit Singh at a concert in London on September 15. The sold-out crowd was blown away by the duo's performance of Ed Sheeran's smash single ‘Perfect’. After the performance, Arijit Singh went to Instagram to thank Ed Sheeran and the crowd.
Arijit Singh shared multiple photos from the London concert with Ed. He wrote, “London, thank you for showing up in such a magnificent way last night. Love & Gratitude. Thank you @teddysphotos for the perfect moment."
Fans and concertgoers posted footage of the performance on X (previously Twitter) and other social media sites, highlighting the electric chemistry between the two performers.
Another enthusiastic commenter said, "I didn't have #ArijitSingh x #EdSheeran on my 2024 bingo list!!"

Meanwhile, Arijit's medical issue caused him to delay his UK tour. After a successful first performance in London, Arijit Singh will continue his four-day Live In Concert tour.
Ed Sheeran’s Connection With India
This isn't the first time Ed Sheeran has been involved with Indian music or culture. On the last stop of his Mathematics Tour earlier this year in Mumbai, he teamed up with Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Ed had great conversations with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana on the same trip.
He also appeared in the previous season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.
