New Delhi: Actress Divya Khossla and T-Series head producer Bhushan Kumar have been married for the last twenty years. In contrast to a few circulating reports, the pair is content with one another. It is untrue that Divya and Bhushan are getting a divorce, despite certain media outlets reporting as much. After Divya removed Kumar from her name on social media, these rumours began.
A T-Series representative issued a clarification saying, "Divya Khossla's choice to drop her married surname, driven by astrological beliefs, is a personal decision and should be respected, her addition of an 's' to her maiden surname, symbolizing her astrological belief is for the same thought.”
It turns out that she had removed Kumar from her name for "astrological reasons." It's also Divya Khossla's personal decision to add a "s" to her name. Fans of the couple can now exhale with relief.
How Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Met
It is said that Bhushan Kumar, the chairman and managing director of T-Series and the son of Gulshan Kumar, first met Divya in 2004 while she was filming her maiden movie, ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo’. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film starred Akshay Kumar.
In Jammu, Divya and Bhushan exchanged vows in 2005. Ruhaan, Divya and Bhushan's son, was born in 2011. The actress frequently posts pictures of herself and her baby on social media.
Divya Khosla career
Divya last appeared with Meezan Jafri and Pearl V Puri in ‘Yaariyan 2’. The movie, which was helmed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and produced by Bhushan Kumar, was released on October 20, 2023.
It was a stand-alone follow-up to Divya's 2014 feature debut, ‘Yaariyan’, and a reimagining of ‘Bangalore Days’, the Malayalam film from the same year that Anjali Menon wrote and directed.
Meanwhile, Bhushan Kumar is one of India's most profitable and well-known producer helming T-Series.
