New Delhi: After her eagerly awaited cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'Jawan', Deepika Padukone stunned her audience. The actor has spoken up about her relationship with her co-star SRK. In an interview with The Week, Deepika stated that her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan goes beyond their respective careers and referred to them as "each other's lucky charms." 


In a recent interview Deepika told the publication, “We are each other's lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other... I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with. There is so much trust and respect, and I think that luck is just the cherry on the top." 


Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan previously worked together on the film 'Pathaan' this year, and now the two actors are getting glowing reviews for Deepika's appearance in Jawan, their fifth film together. In the 2007 film 'Om Shanti Om', Deepika made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh. 


While 'Jawan' is on track to surpass the Rs 700 crore global gross mark, the action entertainer 'Pathaan' had a spectacular run at the box office, earning over Rs 1000 crore. The Atlee directed flick earned Rs 369.22 crore at the box office in India during its first week of release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The action film, which has been out for eight days, reportedly earned Rs 16 crore, according to early estimates recorded by sacnilk.com.


Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, and Sanjay Dutt are among the other actors who feature in 'Jawan'. Red Chillies Entertainment, which is owned by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, produced it. The movie was released on September 7.
