New Delhi: September is almost here and in the entertainment industry, everyone seems to be waiting with bated breath for DeepVeer's baby. Yes, you heard that right! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who announced their pregnancy in February this year, are all set to welcome the baby in September 2024. Their social media post announcing their pregnancy was received with a lot of love from their fans and co-stars alike. Now, it seems that Deepika's due date has begun to do the rounds on social media.
Deepika to deliver on Sep 28, 2024?
As per News 18 Showsha report, a source close to the development, told the publication, "Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly waiting for the upcoming chapter of their lives and are busy setting up a space for their baby. If things go as per plans, she will deliver the baby on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay. At present, the soon-to-be mother is enjoying every bit of the break that she has taken from work.”
While there were rumours about DP giving birth in London, it seems that the leading actor is expected to deliver her first-born in Mumbai itself.
As per the same report, Deepika is planning to resume work in 2025 and would be on leave until March of 2025. The same source was quoted as saying, "Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas."
Are DeepVeer expecting a boy?
Rumours about Deepika and Ranveer having a baby boy have been doing the rounds on social media for quite some time after a post related to the same went viral. A gifting brand shared a picture of adorable presents ordered by Deepika, on its official Instagram handle. The boxes were wrapped in brown paper with a light blue string neatly tied in a bow. The shades of blue and white and several decorative hangings suggested to eagle-eyed fans that the couple could be expecting a boy.
