Taking to Instagram, the Piku actress reshared a lighthearted reel that humorously captured the essence of sibling relationships—full of playful debates, occasional disagreements, but ultimately unwavering support. The reel featured two animals and included the text: “Debating whether to tell my sister there is something on her head or just enjoy the moment.”
Adding her own touch to the post, Deepika wrote, “I love you! @anishapadukone.”
The original post, shared by another Instagram user, read, “Sisters: one minute we’re laughing, the next we’re arguing, but at the end of the day, we’d fight the world for each other. #UnbreakableBond #LifetimeOfChaos.”
Deepika Padukone's bond with sister Anisha
Deepika and Anisha share an incredibly close relationship. While Deepika is constantly in the limelight, Anisha, a professional golfer, prefers to stay away from it. Despite their different paths, the sisters have always stood by each other through thick and thin. Deepika has often spoken about how Anisha is her biggest support system, and their bond is reflected in the way they celebrate each other’s achievements and face life’s challenges together.
Last year, Anisha expressed her excitement about Deepika and Ranveer Singh becoming parents, sharing her joy at stepping into the role of a first-time aunt. When asked about her feelings, Anisha had responded, “Great, great… first-time feeling.”
When jokingly asked who might spoil the baby the most, she quipped, “Spoil? That’s a tough one. I want to say Ranveer, but I have a sneaky feeling that my parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, will be right up there too.” She also playfully admitted that she herself might end up spoiling the baby.
