She looked attractive in an off-shoulder pink and black silk gown by Nedret Taciroğlu. The thing that drew internet users away, however, was her accent and her look. A video of the actress has been making waves on the internet and netizens critiqued Kiara's accent in it.
A Reddit user shared a clip that features Kiara expressing her gratitude and excitement as she marks a significant milestone in her career. She shared her feelings about the humbling experience of walking the prestigious red carpet for the first time.
"It is going to be a decade in my career now. I think this comes at a very special moment as well. And I am truly so humbled to be here at Cannes for the first time and being honoured by the Red Sea Film Foundation. It is such a humbling experience," Kiara said at the festival.
However, not all reactions have been positive. Redditors are talking about Advani's heavy English accent. Many people were upset that the actress had an over-the-top accent for her red-carpet debut. One user wrote, “Trying so hard to put that accent, sounds like Nora. Why can't these celebs be normal?”, while another one said, “How fake one can be with stupid accent.”
