New Delhi: Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, has been garnering praise for his acting prowess in recent projects, following in his father's footsteps. However, a recent cryptic post on his Instagram story has left fans concerned ahead of his father's death anniversary. In the now-deleted post, Babil wrote, "Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba," referring to his father. While the post was removed, a screenshot quickly went viral on social media. 


The screenshot of Babil Khan's post circulated on Reddit, prompting concern from netizens. Many empathised with Babil's feelings, especially with the approaching anniversary of Irrfan's death.

One user shared their own experience of losing a parent, writing, "Feeling the same way too. My father passed away in December 1998. I have spent more time without him than with him." Another user shared the same emotions and wrote, “As a person with a dead parent, this is very painful and relatable.”


Fans also rallied to support Babil. Someone wrote, “Sending him good vibes and positivity,” while another one wrote, “Sending love to you. He’s watching over you.”

The actor started his acting debut with Netflix's film 'Qala'. On the professional front, Babil is set to appear in Shoojit Sircar's upcoming film, ‘The Umesh Chronicles’, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Panth. While the release date has yet to be announced, fans eagerly anticipate Babil's performance in the project. He was last seen in ‘The Railway Men’.
