New Delhi: ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ actress Ananya Panday recounted an intriguing event involving a one-word text message that she got from Jackie Shroff. Afterward, she approached the veteran actor to find out what the message meant. His reply is just hilarious!

In a recent interview with Tanmay Bhatt and Roshan Josh for Netflix India, Ananya Panday brought up a funny anecdote involving renowned actor Jackie Shroff. The rest of the cast of the Netflix original film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ - Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi got together to talk about the film.

During the interview, Ananya shared, "Can I tell what happened with me about Jackie sir? He just randomly texted me saying 'Bhidu'. I asked him, 'yes sir?' and he didn't reply." Ananya got no additional response from the actor.

Later, during a movie screening, she confronted Shroff about the message, which intrigued her. She was taken aback when Shroff casually stated, "Bas Main Hoon," in his trademark authoritative tone, impressing the interviewers and her co-stars alike.

Ananya said, "Then I met him a few days later at a screening or some event. I said, 'Sir, you just sent me Bhidu and you didn't reply, what's up?'. He said, 'I just wanted to tell you ki main hoon'."

Everyone in the room started laughing as Tanmay yelled out, "Dude! What an honour.”

Adarsh Gourav recounted Ananya Panday's birthday present in the same interview. He talked about his plan to print a realistic photo of Ananya from a Goa studio onto a mug for her birthday. Nevertheless, Adarsh playfully admitted that he had neglected to give her the present for the previous three years.

Meanwhile, 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' is now streaming on Netflix.
