New Delhi: Adhyayan S Suman was once in a relationship with Kangana Ranaut. The two actors dated each other when they met on the sets of their 2009 film 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues'. Many know that in 2017, Adhyayan Suman had given an explosive interview about his relationship with Kangana which had become the centre of a controversy. Addressing the same, Adhyayan spoke with News 18 Showsha and shared that he had no regret about speaking out about his controversial relationship with Kangana.
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Adhyayan shared, "I don’t regret speaking about my relationship. I spoke about it like any human being would. I spoke about it at a point when people didn’t know about my side of the story.”
Stating that it was not a publicity stunt, Adhyayan said, "If you recall, there were no press conferences arranged. I never created a hullabaloo saying that things happened with me. It was just once that I spoke out of respect for that person and more importantly, for myself.”
Explaining that his intention was not to seek publicity, he said in the same interaction, "If I was publicity hungry, I would’ve spoken about it back in 2009 when I had the relationship and not in 2017. What difference does it make to my career? You don’t get work because of your affairs but because of your talent. People judged me back then, but then they came back and apologised to me after I spoke about my side of the story. I faced backlash but I don’t regret it at all.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Adhyayan was seen in the web series 'Inspector Avinash' which is currently streaming on Jio Cinema.
Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, has films like 'Emergency' in the pipeline. Ranaut also has 'Chandramukhi 2' in production stages now. Kangana will be making her directorial debut with 'Emergency'.
