New Delhi: Actor Adhyayan Suman is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. The series that marks Sanjay Leela Bhansali's foray into the digital world, releases on Netflix on May 1.
Adhyayan was romantically involved with actress Kangana Ranaut during the filming of their 2009 film 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues'. Their romance ended on a sour note, with Adhyayan accusing Kangana of both physical and mental abuse. Recently, during an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Adhyayan decided not to dwell on the specifics of his past relationship with Kangana. Instead, he acknowledged that he has moved on from that chapter of his life.

Adhyayan shared that he has moved on from his past. He said, "I don’t want to discuss or talk about that person you are referring to (Kangana Ranaut) because I have forgotten the past,” Adhyayan said. “If you’re asking, I’m giving you an answer, but I have given a massive closure to this. Life has moved far ahead. It was when I was 20. I am 36 (now)."
In a 2016 interview, Adhyayan had made allegations of emotional and physical abuse against Kangana, even suggesting that she had practiced "black magic" on him.
During a recent interview with Zoom, Adhyayan's father and actor Shekhar Suman also acknowledged his son's past relationship and said, "We are not hanging on to it – neither the family nor Adhyayan. It was a phase in their life. Who are we to comment and judge? We have gone on our way and everyone is working towards their happiness and contentment. There is no point turning around or pointing fingers or saying ‘this is right’ or ‘this is wrong.”
