BTS, the most popular K-pop group turned 9 on Monday and to commemorate the occasion, the youngest member of the group, Jungkook released a new track and titled ‘My You’ which is dedicated to the completion of 9 years of the K-pop group.


The song ‘My You’ is co-produced by Hiss Noise, whereas Jungkook lent his voice to the song. Jungkook surprised the fans by sharing the screenshots of the countdown on Twitter, before unveiling the song officially. The song has lyrics in the English and Korean languages.



The BTS group debuted in South Korea in June 2013 with the single ‘NO MORE DREAM’, which peaked at number 124th on Gaon Digital Chart and sold roughly 50,000 copies. BTS scored their first number-one hit with "Blood Sweat and Tears” in late 2016, selling more than 1.5 million copies in South Korea and reaching #1 on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart. The group reached the milestone of becoming the number one K-pop group with the songs like ‘No More Dream’, ‘Permission to Dance’ and ‘Butter’. And recently, BTS has unveiled the tracklist for the third disc of their upcoming anthology album Proof, which features a new song titled "For Youth". 


‘Proof’ has been topping music charts worldwide. The album had sold out 2.15 million copies, just 10 hours after it became available in the market, according to Hanteo Chart, a South Korean music chart. It was the second time when the sales of the album surpassed 2 million on the first day, after “Map of Soul:7” in 2020.
