Pop singer Britney Spears tied-the-knot with fiance` Sam Asghari in an intimate ceremony on Thursday, June 9. However, the wedding was interrupted by Brithney's ex-husband Jason Alexander, who was trespassing Spears' residence in Thousand Oaks. Alexander was found to have an out of county warrant, and was later arrested for the same.
The investigation still continues with deputies on scene, who will determine if additional charges need to be pressed against Alexander, in relation to the alleged tresspassing.
Britney and her childhood friend Alexander, got married in 2004 for a total of 55 hours before annulling their marriage.
However, Britney and Sam's nuptials were not interrupted by the incident. The couple, who fell in love on the sets of her music video 'Slumber Party' in 2016, got engaged in September, last year. Britney's 13 year long conservatorship battle with her family ended soon after the engagement, in November, with the singer winning the case.
According to People, Britney and Sam's wedding was attended by a total of around 60 guests, including Madonna, Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton. Britney opted for a bridal gown from Versace and walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley's 'Can't help falling in love.'
Recently, the couple went through a rough phase as Britney suffered a miscarriage in May, after announcing her pregnancy in April. The 'Toxic' fame singer took to her Instagram to share a post that read as, "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment."
