New Delhi: After the documentary 'Framing Britney' was released last week, Britney Spears has finally broken her silence. She took to Twitter and posted how she is taaking times to enjoy the simple things in life and people are different than what is presented through a lens.

The tweets come after Spears' boyfriend Sam Asghari defended the singer on Instagram. The fitness model took to Instagram and wrote "Now it's important for people to understand that I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles our way. In my opinion, Jamie is a total ****. I won't be going into details because I've always respected our privacy but at the same time I didn't come to this country to not be able to express my opinion and freedom."

Asghari also spoke to People magazine and was quoted as saying “I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves. I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together.”

Britney Spears has been under conservatorship since 2008 after the court decided that she was not capable of making her own decisions about her finances and health care. The 39-year-old singer has been under a conservatorship for the past 12 years and her father is able to make most of her life decisions on her behalf. Fans believe that Britney should be able to control her own life and want the conservatorship to end.

The documentary 'Framing Britney Spears' revoles around her celebrity and popularity within American culture, and the conservatorship which she's lived under since 2008, which has sparked the fan-driven "Free Britney" movement.

Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Kacey Musgraves, Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Milder all took to their social media to show their support towards Spears using the hashtag #FreeBritney.
