New Delhi: Ayan Mukerji's directorial ‘Brahmastra’, which has been the subject of much anticipation for quite some time is generating positive remarks from moviegoers. The film has had a rocky road to the theaters, and its current marketing campaign is centered on the high expectations audiences have put upon it. It would be intriguing to see whether Brahmastra's box office earnings come close to those of KGF 2. However, the data indicate that it will be difficult for the movie to come even close to matching the earnings of Yash starrer KGF 2.

If we look at the net total collection of this mega-blockbuster in the domestic market KGF 2 is leading the way with a collection of Rs 405.50 Cr. Net in the domestic market, whereas if we look at Brahmastra's collections, the film has collected Rs 212.40 Cr. Net in the domestic market.

In addition, it can be seen quite clearly that the movie has already collected somewhere half of what KGF 2 did. In addition, the movie is doing quite well at the box office. It is reasonable to anticipate that Brahmastra will reach its full potential, which is estimated to be close to or exactly 340 Cr. Without a shadow of a doubt, Brahmastra is struggling at the box office to establish its spot in the competition for blockbuster KGF 2 as of now. It will unquestionably be a difficult path to get close to the numbers that KGF 2 earned.

Despite being the most anticipated film of the last several years and having high hopes of setting a new box office record with its release, Brahmastra was unable to do so since it went up against one of the year's greatest blockbusters, KGF 2. As Brahmastra is running in its second week it seems like the film will have to face hardship to justify itself at the box office upon the capital invested.
