New Delhi: 'Brahmastra' is just two days away from release and the team of the film visited Delhi to promote their upcoming film. Ayan Mukerji, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were present at a press event where they also engaged in a Q&A session with the media. Ayan Mukerji also shared some exclusive footage from the film for the audiences.


Both, Alia and Ranbir looked dapper in their outfits. While Alia was seen in a lilac coloured blazer and mom jeans with block heels, Ranbir opted for an all mustard look. Ayan looked casual in his outfit.


The event opened with Ayan talking about 'Brahmastra', the inspiration behind the film and some exclusive 3-D footage from the film that looked epic and grand.


As Alia and Ranbir joined the press conference, the team spoke about their excitement around the film, how much they are anticipating its release. Ayan also addressed how audiences will walk out of theatres feeling that they have seen a very 'original Indian film' and a feeling of positivity which they also felt while working on the film for over 10 years.


Alia Bhatt shared her experience of working with Ayan calling him passionate and fiery for his work. In fact, she also added that Ayan's 'fire' of energy is so infectious that it has inspired her alot. Also praising the filmmaker's discipline for his meditation and his work, she shared there was never a moment of doubt about working with Ayan. The 'Darlings' actress shared that she was already a fan of Ayan's 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'. 


Ranbir Kapoor who has already worked with Ayan on his earlier two films, talked about the close best-friend of his and his dedication towards 'Brahmastra'.


Ayan, on the other hand, emphasised that his lead co-stars shared his dedication towards 'Brahmastra' and their work ethic was such that they were almost like 'assistant directors' on the project.


'Brahmastra' is a fantasy-epic drama film which will have three installments. The Part 1: Shiva stars Ranbir, Alia, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy among others. 'Brahmastra' is slated to release on September 9, 2022.
