New Delhi: 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' has been one of the most-anticipated films of the year. This Marvel Cinematic Universe film has been promoted extensively across the world. And, as expected, the opening Friday seems to have had a healthy start at the box office. As per a Pinkvilla report, 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' collected between Rs. 12.5-Rs. 13.5 crores net on day 1. It has also been reported that this is a higher collection than all non-Marvel Hollywood films released this year though the earnings are lower than the other Marvel films like 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness' and 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.
'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' has had the 13th highest opening day of all-time, just under 'The Avengers' which collected $80.8 Million in 2012 as per a Deadline report. 'Wakanda Forever' also ranks as the third best Thursday preview of the year behind 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'( $26 M) and 'Thor: Love and Thunder's' ($29M). 'Black Panther 2's previews rank as the 15th top preview performance in the industry history and gives the Marvel Cinematic Universe one of the top 15 starts ever.
'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's a 2022 Marvel superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character 'Black Panther. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney, the film is the second installment to 'Black Panther' ( 2018) and the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe( MCU).
