New Delhi: Actress Akshara Singh, who is a well-known name in the Bhojpuri film industry, recently had a very bitter experience during a live performance in Jharkhand. The actress, who is well-known for her films like 'Satyamev Jayate', 'Satya', 'Tabadla' and others, got off the stage when a man did something outrageous while Akshara was performing live on-stage.
In a video doing the rounds on social media, Akshara can be seen performing on-stage when a man stepped up and began showering money on the actress. An infuriated Akshara handed over the mic and got down the stage.
Netizens hailed Akshara for not compromising with her self-respect. Later in the video, Akshara can be seen requesting the audience not to disrespect money through such actions. The actress said, "Main haath jodkar vinti karti hun k koi bhi aise aakar paise ka apmaan na kare. Hum jitne kalakaar hain, hum sab paise ke lie kaam karte hain. Usko aise nahi karna chahiye."

Akshara Singh has also featured in a couple of hindi television serials namely 'Kaala Teeka' and 'Service Wali Bahu' on Zee TV. She also essayed the role of Gandhari in the mythological drama 'Suryaputra Karn' and Kadika for the historical show 'Porus', that aired on Sony TV.
Akshara is also a singer apart from being an actress.
