Here’s Why Netizens Are Demanding To Ban Saif Ali Khan Starrer ‘Tandav’

Soon after its release on January 15, 2021, netizens started trending #BanTandavNow on social media platforms. Here's why.

New Delhi: ‘Tandav’ is a political drama starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The much-awaited web series released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on January 15, 2021. The web series grabbed a lot of attention on social media after the teaser was released and the audience could not wait to watch Saif in a never-seen-before avatar. ‘Tandav’ also marks the veteran  actress Dimple Kapadia’s digital debut.

However, soon after its release, netizens started trending #BanTandavNow on social media platforms as apparently the web series hurts the religious Hindu sentiments and is insulting Hindu Gods.
