Bollywood has been creating a lot of song remakes, and now Ayushmann Khurrana starring Jehda Nasha is adding to the long list. Khurrana, who will next be featured in 'An Action Hero', shared a poster for the song Jehda Nasha from his upcoming film on Twitter. To promote the upcoming song with Nora Fatehi, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a poster.
“Get ready to (fire emoji) the dance floor once again with #JehdaNasha, with a sizzling twist! Out soon! #AnActionHero in cinemas near you on Dec 2, 2022,” the actor wrote.
Meanwhile, Nora posted a similar poster on Instagram and wrote, “Get ready to get your mind BLOWN! If the poster is this (fire emoji) you can only imagine what the song is like! #JehdaNasha song out soon!”
Fans of the original song are, however, not pleased with the forthcoming version. Twitter users urged Bollywood to refrain from "ruining" the original songs and to continue creating new music. Here is what they had to say:
The hit song Jehda Nasha was first performed by Amar Jalal and Faridkot. The song is a great hit on social media and has 26 million views on YouTube. In 2022, a TV commercial for the deodorant brand Wild Stone starring Ali Fazal made the Punjabi song go popular. Later, the song gained popularity on Instagram, as users created numerous reels on it.
Anirudh Iyer, who previously worked as an assistant director on Aanand L Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' and 'Zero', is the director of 'An Action Hero'. The film's screenplay was written by Neeraj Yadav. The movie starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat will be released on December 2, 2022.
