Actor Arjun Kapoor shared a nostalgic post on Tuesday, remembering his late mother Mona Kapoor. Taking to Instagram, Arjun shared a monochrome picture of him standing in the middle of the terrace and looking up in the sky.


Always wondering if she's watching me from up there #mymommybestest," he captioned the post, referring to his late mother who passed away in 2012, battling cancer. The actor shared a picture from a photoshoot in which he can be seen posing on a building's rooftop and looking up at the sky. Arjun can be seen dressed in a formal suit. 



Arjun's post garnered several heartfelt comments from social media users. Arjun's cousin and Rhea Kapoor's husband Karan Boolani, dropped a heart and folded hands emoji in the comments section. "Thousand per cent," Jackie Shroff's wife Ayesha Shroff commented.
"She's always there for you," another one wrote.


Mona was Boney Kapoor's first wife before the filmmaker married Sridevi (who passed away in 2018).Boney and Mona got divorced in 1996. Mona was diagnosed with cancer and died on March 25, 2012, just before the release of Arjun Kapoor's debut movie in Bollywood 'Ishaqzaade'.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun who was last seen in Bhoot Police opposite Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam will be next seen in 'Ek Villian Returns' and 'Kuttey'. Arjun Kapoor will also star in The Lady Killer featuring Bhumi Pednekar.
