Bollywood Celeb IT Raid: Income Tax Raids Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu's Properties

Income Tax Raid on Bollywood Stars: The IT department is conducting searches on people related to Phantom Films over allegations of tax evasion.

The Income Tax Department on Wednesday raided the houses of filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl, and Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu over alleged tax evasion. Searches are on at nearly 20 locations in Mumbai and Pune in connection with Kashyap’s production house Phantom Films.

Producer Madhu Mantena’s residence was also searched. The IT department is conducting searches on people related to Phantom Films over allegations of tax evasion.

Phantom Films was a production company established by filmmakers- Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu. However, the company was dissolved in October 2018.
