Mumbai: Exactly a year ago, on this day, our beloved Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last. The actor was allegedly found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on June 14, 2021, and today, on his first death anniversary, SSR’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande shared some throwback memories on her social media.
Ankita Lokhande shared a video on her Instagram depicting her journey with the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor. while sharing the video, she wrote, “14th June This is who he was !!! Thankyou Sushant for your part in my journey See you again till we meet again Phir milenge chalte chalte Good bye”.
The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress also shared a throwback video of her dancing and Sushant dancing during Diwali 2011. Both of them can be seen wearing black outfits and looking extremely adorable. Ankita captioned the post and wrote, “Left with these memories only. U will always be loved and cherished Diwali 2011”.
Sharing another video, the 'Manikarnika' actress wrote, "4 June This was our journey !!!! Phir milenge chalte chalte".
Ankita also held a special prayer at her home and shared glimpses of the same on Instagram stories. The actress was in a relationship with the ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ actor for 6 years before they parted their ways. Sushant and Ankita starred as the lead pair in Ekta Kapoor’s TV serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. The couple became a household name and the audience loved watching them together.
Lokhande, who share a close relationship with Sushant’s family, was spotted visiting the late actor’s family in his Mumbai residence after his untimely death.
