BMC frontline sanitisation workers arrived in full PPE Kit to sanitise his house and the nearby areas. They said that they were also given the responsibility of screening people in the locality. Contact tracing work will also be initiated by the BMC today. Officials put a banner outside 'Jalsa', the residence of actor Amitabh Bachchan in Mumbai, to define it as a containment zone.
Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday. While Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan have tested negative in the antigen test. Their swab test has been conducted and the results are expected today.

- Amitabh Bachchan tweets to inform that he has been tested positive for Coronavirus. The tests of his family members has also been conducted. He asked people who came in his contact in last ten days to get themselves tested.
- An hour later, actor and his son Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted to inform that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.
- Both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.
- Sunday morning, the hospital administration informs that the infection in both father and son is in mild stage. It said that their condition is stable.
- Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan’s wife Jaya Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested negative in the antigen test. Their swab test has also been conducted the result for which are awaited.
- Hospital sources informed that Amitabh Bachchan had a good sleep last night and seems stable.
