The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya got over a day back and it was indeed a lavish affair. With pujas and bhajans resonating Rambhoomi, Ramlalla finally arrived and the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony was fulfilled. To witness this, notable people from all over the country arrived in Ayodhya that included celebrities like Amitabh Bachhcna, Rajinikanth and others as well.


Bachchan, adorned with a tilak on his forehead and folded hands, shared a photo with the Ramlalla idol at Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Garbed in traditioanl kurta-pajama, both he and his son Abhishek Bachchan, participated in the consecration ceremony.


Following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture from the temple, featuring the Ram Lalla idol, and captioned it with 'Jai Siya Ram.'






Reflecting on the experience, Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog, where he described the day as "a day filled with the relevance of divine spirit .. back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya .. the glory the celebration and the belief of faith .. immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at shri Ram’s birth .. not much can be said beyond this .. for faith does not possess description .."


PM Modi was the main 'yajman' of the puja, who after performing the rituals, greeted all the guests with folded hands and the cameras captured a notable moment when Rajinikanth exchanged greetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The clip revealed PM Modi giving a specific gesture towards Rajinikanth, seemingly inquiring about his well-being to which the south superstar responded affirmatively with a hand gesture.






Talking about the event, Rajinikanth told ANI that it was a historic event. "I am very fortunate. Will definitely come to Ayodhya every year," he added.






After the 'pran pratishtha', Ayodhya celebrated 'Deepotsav'. The city illuminated with lights and diyas and an atmosphere of joy and celebration was there all over.
