New Delhi: Aaradhya Bachchan, the grandchild of iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan and daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has filed a complaint with the Delhi High Court against a YouTube tabloid for publishing "fake news" about her personal life and health. Since she is just eleven years old, the little girl wants an injunction against such media coverage. Aaradhya, who is just 11 years old, has filed a petition demanding that 10 entities "de-list and deactivate all videos" featuring her.

On April 20, the case will be heard at Delhi High Court. The Bachchan family, however, has not yet issued any confirmation.

Both Google LLC and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Grievance Cell) have been added as defendants.

According to the petition filed by the legal firm Anand and Naik, "The defendants' sole motivation is to unlawfully profit from the reputation of the Bachchan family, irrespective of the damage-causing to the plaintiffs and their family members."

Due to her status as a "celebrity kid," she has been the subject of offensive remarks from the day she was born. Her father Abhishek Bachchan responded angrily to online abuse directed at their daughter Aaradhya in 2021. According to an interview he gave to Bollywood Life, Abhishek remarked, “It’s completely unacceptable and something that I will not tolerate. I’m a public figure that’s fine, my daughter is out of bounds. If you have anything to say, come and say it to my face.”

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in 2007. They had their first child, a girl named Aaradhya, in 2011. Since then, Aaradhya has risen to prominence as one of the country's most famous star kids.
