New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is dealing with some domestic COVID situation as one of his staff members has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a BMC official. 


The megastar who is an active social media user, wrote in his blog post on Tuesday that he is "dealing with some domestic COVID situations". The actor also said that he will connect with his fans later.


According to an E-Times report, the BMC official said that out of 31 staff members of both the veteran star's bungalows, Pratiksha and Jalsa, one tested positive during the routine COVID-19 tests.


He further added that routine COVID-19 tests of the staffers were conducted from Amitabh Bachchan's team. The staff who is asymptomatic, has been quarantined at Covid Care Center 2 of the BMC.


Another senior official said that as per the guidelines they have followed COVID-19 protocols that includes tracing, testing and home quarantine of close contacts.


Amitabh's fans started extending their heartfelt wishes for the actor and his family after he posted the cryptic message that read,"Dealing with some domestic COVID situation....will connect later."


Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for the coronavirus in 2020. His family members including son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and grand daughter Aaradhya had also contracted the virus.


Earlier this week, producer Ekta Kapoor, actor John Abraham and wife Priya Runchal and veteran actor Prem Chopra along with his wife Uma also tested positive for COVID-19. While Ekta and John took to social media to share the news and are in home quarantine, Prem Chopra and his wife were admitted in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.
