New Delhi: Akshay Kumar's first look from his upcoming untitled film is out. Fans brace yourselves to see Akshay Kumar portray the real life story of mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill. Gill saved 64 miners trapped in Raniganj Coalfields in 1989. The untitled rescue project marks Akshay Kumar's third collaboration with Pooja Entertainment.

Akshay had earlier worked with the production house for 'Rustom'(2016), and 'Bellbottom'( 2021). Tinu Suresh Desai who earlier directed Kumar in 'Rustom' will be working again with Akshay in this untitled film based on a true story.

The leaked picture of Akshay Kumar from the untitled film shows Akshay as a turbaned man wearing spectacles and a long beard with a heavily muscular physique. From the looks of it, it seems Akshay is standing in a farm field.

According to Variety.com, the image was clicked by a fan in a Yorkshire field in the United Kingdom while the film was being shot despite the location being isolated and Pooja Entertainment's tight security. The same report also suggests that the production company has taken over 100 acres for shooting and that it could be the largest Indian production in terms of scale to take place in the U.K.

Pooja Entertainment is headed by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani.

Meanwhile, Akshay also has Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ lined up alongside Bhumi Pednekar for the occasion of Rakhi on Aug 11, 2022.

Akshay’s last release ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ failed to perform very well at the box office.
