New Delhi: As fans have been eagerly waiting for Ajay Devgn to return with the second installment of 'Drishyam', the actor recently shared receipts of old bills, perhaps hinting that the teaser of 'Drishyam 2' is not far away. Taking to Instagram, Ajay shared pictures of receipts from Ashok restaurant, CD of Swami Chinmayananda Ji’s Maha Satsang dated October 2 and 3, ticket from Panjim to Pondolem and tickets to a movie.
Ajay captioned these pictures, "Kuch purane bills haath lage aaj” (Found some old receipts today). Fans were quick to catch on to the actor’s hint as one of them wrote, “Drishyam 2 on the way.” Soon after Ajay shared the pics, fans began predicting that 'Drishyam 2' is coming and a fan even commented, " 2 Oct ko post Karne the Na Sir.. LOADED Drishyam 2."
As October 2 plays an important role in Drishyam's narrative, many in the comments section anticipated that the film's teaser or perhaps promotions will begin from the said date. A Bollywood Hungama report has earlier mentioned that the 'Drishyam 2' promotions will begin from October 2.
Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran will be reprising their roles from the first installment in 'Drishyam 2'.
The plot of 'Drishyam 2' is said to be inspired from superstar Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 2' which was released last year.
Besides 'Drishyam 2', Ajay Devgn has been keeping busy with a lineup of films. His last release 'Runway 34' which also happened to be directed by him received a mixed response from the audience but largely on a positive side. In the film, Ajay co-starred with Rakul Preet, and both portrayed the roles of commercial airline pilots.
Ajay also has films like 'Thank God' featuring Sidharth Malhotra, 'Maidaan' and his own directorial 'Bholaa', which also features Tabu in a pivotal role.
