Actor Ram Charan Tests Positive For COVID-19, Says He Has No Symptoms And Is Home Quarantined
Varun Tej Konidela took to his Twitter and revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. He shared a note which read, "Earlier today I tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms. I am currently quarantined at home taking the necessary precautions. I will be back soon. Thank you for all your love."
Earlier today, Varun's cousin Ram Charan also took to his social media and revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The 'RRR' actor shared a post which read, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. No Symptoms and Quarantined at home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger."
While sharing the post, Charan wrote, "Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested. More updates on my recovery soon."
Ram Charan was shooting for his upcoming movie 'RRR' with director S.S. Rajamouli. On the occasion of Christmas, the 'Magadheera' actor also hosted a party which marked the presence of his family members including Varun Tej Konidela. Take a look at the celebration pictures here.
Varun made his debut as a lead actor in the 2014 film 'Mukunda' opposite Pooja Hegde. His second film 'Kanche', based on WWII became a huge success both critically and commercially. He then went on to star in super hit films like 'Fidaa', 'Tholi Prema', 'F2: Fun and Frustration' among others. Son of actor and producer Nagendra Babu, Varun is the elder brother of Niharika Konidela and cousin of actors Ram Charan and Allu Arjun.
