New Delhi: B-town diva Ananya Panday is said to be dating ‘The Night Manager’ actor Aditya Roy Kapur. The newest rumoured couple in Bollywood, made news when they walked the runway at the same fashion event. None of them has commented on or refuted the rumours of their romantic connection. But, Aditya, whose film ‘Gumraah’ is set to be released, discussed his wedding plans and other aspects of the film during an interview.
On Thursday, during the premiere of the Gumraah trailer, he was asked whether he was willing to give up the status of "most eligible bachelor in Bollywood." Aditya responded that, “I think everyone is getting married but I am not getting any FOMO. So, I will take my time and do it when the time is right.”
Aditya and Ananya's relationship has been the subject of much speculation ever since the latter made an appearance on Karan Johar's ‘Koffee With Karan’. Karan dropped hints about a possible romance between them last year. He said that they are often seen attending Bollywood events together. During Kriti Sanon's Diwali celebration in 2022, they were also seen together.
Aditya also talked about playing a double role in his upcoming film and said, stated, “I have never done a double role in any film. It was a challenge, but maazaa aa gaya. Both characters, we had to make them look different. I did diction classes and made both characters sound different. The challenge you face when working on a thriller is to be one step ahead of the audience and not vice versa.”
'Gumraah' is the Hindi adaptation of the 2019 Tamil movie 'Thadam' starring Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep. The thriller, which also stars Mrunal Thakur, will be released in theatres on April 7, 2023.
Aditya Roy Kapur recently appeared alongside Anil Kapoor in the Hindi version of the BBC television series 'The Night Manager'. He portrayed an ex-soldier who works as a hotel employee and gets dragged into a mission to take down a prominent arms dealer.
