Bobby Deol's 'Aashram Chapter 2: The Dark Side', which will premiere on MX Player on November 11, has run into legal trouble. Karni Sena has raised objections to the web series' content and sent separate legal notices to the producer-director Prakash Jha and the OTT platform. The trailer of the much-awaited series was released on October 29. The organization expressed his displeasure over some of the 'objectionable' scenes in the trailer and demanded a ban on the series.

Karni Sena's General Secretary (Mumbai) Surjit Singh, while talking to ABP News on the phone, said, "The word ashram is a matter of faith for Hindus and the tradition of ashram in Hinduism holds a special significance. The things shown in the second season's trailer swill create an impression in the minds of people that misdeeds happen in all the ashrams across the country."

In the legal notice, Karni Sena has accused the makers of the show of hurting sentiments of Hindus and defaming Hinduism.

Surjit Singh further said, "Prakash Jha should name the 'baba' on whom he has created the series. He should reveal about the ashram which has been depicted in his series. He cannot get away with it by calling the show a fictional story. We won't tolerate the attempt to discredit Hinduism and ashrams through the show."

While Bobby Deol is playing the role of Kashipur Wale Baba, Aaditi Pohankar will be seen as Parminder in 'Aashram Chapter 2: The Dark Side'.
