Recently, Aamir Khan along with his youngest son Azad Khan personally went to buy a gift for his mother’s birthday. He was spotted outside a jewellery store in Mumbai.

Clearly, Khan shares a great rapport with his mom which is reflected in all the Aamir Khan Production films whether it is 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Secret Superstar', or his forthcoming film 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The star has always given space for strong mother characters to foster and grow. We can most certainly believe that this portrayal is inspired by his relationship with his mother Zeenat Hussain.

On the work front, Aamir is going to great lengths to promote his film 'Laal Singh Chaddha', that is set to release in August, this year. The film starring Aamir and Kareena in lead roles is the original adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer 'Forrest Gump'. It took almost 18 years for Aamir to acquire remake rights for the 1994 film.

'Laal Singh Chaddha' also stars Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in key roles.
