New Delhi: ‘Fast & Furious’ is a series of action films which are largely concerned with street racing, heists and spies. The first film of this series ‘The Fast And The Furious’ was released in the year 2001. Helmed by Rob Cohen, this movie starred Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Rick Yune, Chad Lindberg, Johnny Strong, and Ted Levine in the lead roles. Since then, there have been 8 films made under this franchise.

Recently, a brand-new teaser of the ninth part of the franchise was released online and director Justin Lin took to his Twitter and shared some behind-the-scenes shots of the filming. Sharing the video, Justin revealed that a 4-second shot in F9 took 8 months of preparation. He further said that 4 days of production was involved while filming the shot.


Justin Lin tweeted, “One 4 second shot in #F9. 8 months of prep. 4 days of production. 3 cars destroyed. Work from over a hundred of the most dedicated and talented crew. Best job in the world!”



The film was earlier slated to release last year but got delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It was also speculated that F9 will release this year on May 28, 2021, but in the recent teaser, the release date has not been explicitly announced yet.


This movie stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron. F9 is the sequel to the 2017 film ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ which will be followed by a tenth instalment.
