New Delhi: The Election Commission on Saturday announced the much-awaited roster for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The general elections will be held in seven phases, starting from April 19 till June 1. The results will be declared on June 4.
Among the states to vote in seven phases is West Bengal, which will witness polling in its 42 Lok Sabha constituencies across all the phases.
Polling for the 42 seats will be held on the following days:
- Phase 1: April 19 | 3 seats
- Phase 2: April 26 | 3 seats
- Phase 3: May 7 | 4 seats
- Phase 4: May 13 | 8 seats
- Phase 5: May 20 | 7 seats
- Phase 6: May 25 | 8 seats
- Phase 7: June 1 | 9 seats
