New Delhi: Eying the seventh and final phase of the Uttar Pradesh elections on March 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jaunpur and addressed a 'Vishal Jan Sabha' rally today. Addressing a large gathering, PM Modi said that after interacting with people in his public rallies he is sure that BJP will return to power has people of UP have decided to bring the government of BJP, Apna Dal, and Nishad Party.


PM Modi also said that in the sixth phase of polling today, voting is in favour of the BJP and so far it is confirmed that the saffron party will return.


PM Modi said that this victory is necessary because we do not have to stop the path of development on which Uttar Pradesh is currently moving on. PM Modi said that this is the first time after independence that the voice of the people of Purvanchal and Uttar Pradesh is resonating with great strength from Delhi to Lucknow.


PM Modi said, "We provided free ration to poor people during Covid 19,  administered vaccine free of cost. Our government is working for poor people of the country."


Taking a jibe at the opposition parties PM Modi said that 'Parivarwaadis' tried hard to divide Uttar Pradesh with caste politics but the state stands united as people understood the plan of former governments.


Speaking on the present crisis the world is facing due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, PM Modi said, "Today, the whole world is facing serious challenges, your vote is making India stronger to deal with these challenges."


Meanwhile, voting for the sixth phase assembly elections is underway in Uttar Pradesh and the seventh and final phase of polls will be conducted on March 10. The counting of votes will be done on March 10.
