New Delhi: With few days left for the Uttarakhand Assembly elections, Prime Minister Modi addressed his second rally in the state. PM Modi visited Almora and addressed a hybrid rally today.
PM Modi said that after the first phase of polling in UP elections yesterday, it is clear that BJP will win with record numbers. He said, "more than us, the public is determined to make BJP win these polls. Voters never leave the side of those who've good intentions."
Urging the people to vote BJP in the upcoming elections, PM Modi said that this decade belongs to Uttarakhand, don't let this opportunity pass. Recently, projects worth Rs 17,000 crores were inaugurated in the state. The Char Dham all-weather road will benefit the Tanakpur-Pithoragarh section.
The Prime Minister further said that he recognises the power, good intentions, sincerity of the people of Uttarakhand. speaking about the government's plan for hilly areas, PM Modi said, "In this Union Budget, we've proposed 'Parvatmala Scheme' to build ropeways for hilly areas. We'll build modern roadways and transport infrastructure in the state."
Asking the people what they want from the state government, PM Modi said, "After 10th March, Dhami Ji's government will work aggressively to further develop the tourism sector in Uttarakhand. You (public) have to decide whether you want in power those who promote 'Paryatan' (tourism) or 'Palayan' (migration)."
The Prime Minister further said that the work of the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line project is going on, the dream of the Tanakpur-Bageshwar railway line will definitely come true in the coming time and we will fulfill it.
Hitting at the Congress party, PM Modi said, "See what has become of Congress...only the brother-sister duo is campaigning. Don't they have any other leaders left in the party? Today, their own leaders do not want to be with the party. Then, how can they give anything to you?".
