New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will begin his poll campaign for the Lok Sabha elections from Saharanpur on Sunday.

UP BJP spokesperson Chandramohan said that before addressing a public meeting, Adityanath would visit the Shakumbhari Devi temple in Saharanpur and offer prayers. Yogi will address a public meeting after offering prayers to the goddess.

He said the chief minister would highlight the achievements of the BJP governments at the Centre and in the state

BJP had started its poll campaign in 2014 and 2017 from Shakumbhari Devi temple and the party had tasted immense success in both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

The grand alliance will also hold a huge rally in Saharanpur’s Deoband on April 7 in a bid to give out a message of Hindu-Muslim unity. This time all the star campaigners of the alliance are expected to be present. Deoband has Darul Uloom the popular Islamic school and is being considered a perfect place for the grand alliance to begin its campaign considering its minority voter base.
