After Union Home Minister Amit Shah's "2G, 3G and 4G" parties remark, Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera on Monday slammed the saffron party, stating that the BJP is in itself a "2G party with PM Modi and Amit Shah," news agency ANI reported. Speaking with reporters, Khera stated: "JP Nadda is the president of the party, yet he doesn't have a role in the party."

Slamming Amit Shah, he said: "The home minister is doing campaigning instead of looking after his ministry and the results are for everyone to see in Manipur, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and everywhere in the country. You can see the results of a weak home minister."

Earlier on Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had dubbed Telengana's governing BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi), its allies AIMIM, and the opposition Congress "2G, 3G, and 4G" parties for their dynastic politics.

Addressing the "Raitu Gosa - BJP Barosa" Public Meeting in Khammam on Sunday, Shah  said the countdown has begun for the "corrupt and oppressive" BRS administration led by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and backed by AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi.

"Congress is a 4G party--Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira ji, Rajiv ji and now Rahul Gandhi -- It is a four-generation party. KCR's party is the 2G party and Owaisi's party is 3G party," Shah was quoted by PTI in its report.

"Neither 2G will come, 3G will come nor 4G will come. Now is the turn of the lotus," Shah had said.

According to Shah, BRS "destroyed the dreams" of individuals who died during the seperate statehood.
