Telangana Results 2023: KCR, Ousted From CM's Chair, To Sit In Opposition For The 1st Time

Telangana Election Result 2023: K Chandrashekar Rao has lost the CM's chair for the first time and will sit in the Opposition as Congress takes over the reins of the state.

Incumbent Telangana CM and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao suffered a massive defeat as he was removed from the Chief Minister's chair for the first time since the inception of the state in 2014. Playing safe, KCR contested two seats — Gajwel and Kamareddy. The move paid off as he managed to retain his place as an MLA in Telangana after being handed a stunning defeat in the Kamareddy constituency by BJP's KVR Reddy.
