Lok Sabha Elections: Hitting back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Shehzada in Delhi and Bihar" remark at a rally in Bihar's Darbhanga, former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said he is 'pirzada', our elder, and he can say anything, but he speaks more lies than truth. This comes hours after PM Modi called Tejashwi Yadav a 'shehzada' equivalent to that of the Congress leader in Delhi (Rahul Gandhi), who considers the entire Bihar his "jagir" (property).
The RJD leader said that the Prime Minister has come to Darbhanga, so he should say useful things, as the people in Mithila are intellectuals and they want to hear useful things, not useless things. Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tejashwi Yadav remarked that the saffron party has done nothing for the people in Bihar, and this time its condition is bad in the state.
"He is the PM, he can say anything. He is 'pirzada', our elder. We are 'chhote log'. He has the right to say whatever he wants. He is 'pirzada' but he speaks more lies than truth. He has come to Darbhanga, so he should say useful things. People in Mithila are intellectuals, they want to hear useful things, not useless things...They have done nothing for the people here...This time, BJP's condition in Bihar is bad," the former Bihar Deputy CM said.
Continuing his retort at the BJP, Yadav said that the people are tired of PM Modi's false promises and have understood that they need to teach the saffron party a lesson. "People are tired of PM's false promises. They are asking him to speak the truth...Stepmotherly behaviour has been done with Bihar...They have done nothing for Bihar. People of the state have understood they need to teach the BJP a lesson. People of 'Badka Jhootha Party' - Bihar has decided to defeat them this time and have an INDIA Alliance government at the Centre," he said.
