The cousin of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Suneetha Narreddy on Thursday, urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to not vote for the killers of her father YS Vivekananda Reddy and those protecting the perpetrators. Specifically, Suneetha requested the people to not vote for Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy who has allegations against him in the murder and Jagan Mohan Reddy.

During the launch of his YSR Congress Party's election campaign, the Chief Minister accused Opposition parties of being involved in the murder case. He also emphasized the need for transparency regarding the perpetrators and those shielding them.

Jagan Mohan Reddy also criticized his sisters, Y.S. Sharmila and Suneetha Narreddy, for allegedly aligning with his political rivals.

In response, Suneetha Narreddy questioned whether her cousin understood the significance of familial relations.

Addressing the reporters outside Telangana High Court on Thursday, after the hearing of a petition to cancel the anticipatory bail of Avinash Reddy in the murder case, she asked, "Chinnanna (father’s younger brother) is next to father. You failed to expose the conspiracy behind the murder of such a person. Is it fair to make accusations against Chinnanna’s daughter.”

"When your sister is running around courts and police, what is your duty as an elder brother? Do you know the meaning of relations? You are saying God knows and the people of the district know who killed Chinnanna. Yes, what you said is correct. God, you and the people of the district know who killed Chinnanna. That’s why you are shielding the accused," she said, as per a report on IANS.

Suneetha Narreddy asserted that the alleged killers themselves have implicated Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy and Avinash Reddy in the murder of Vivekananda Reddy. She directed a question to Jagan Mohan Reddy, asking what actions his government had taken over the course of five years regarding this matter.
