The BJP reached the midway point in Rajasthan by winning 115 of the 199 Assembly seats, while the Congress secured 68.

Rajasthan's election politics have stayed intact from its three-decade tradition of voting out the incumbent party as the BJP prepares to become the government. The Congress won the state with a majority in 2018, therefore ending the Vasundhara Raje government.
