Rajasthan Assembly Elections: Ahead of the assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto on Thursday. Through its manifesto, the BJP seeking a comeback in the desert state by promising better prospects for farmers, youth, and women.
The ruling Congress released its manifesto in the poll-bound state last month. Among the promises made in the manifesto, the grand old party also promised security and better education for women and youth.
The BJP and Congress will be in direct contest against each other in the state. The promises made by the two parties in their respective manifestos focus on targeting women and youth. In its manifesto, the saffron party has also promised the formation of an SIT for the investigation of the paper leak scandal, which has grabbed eyeballs in the recent past.

Rajasthan is set to go to polls in a single phase on November 25, and the results will be declared on December 3. The date of issue for the Gazette Notification was October 30, and November 6 was the last date for filing nominations, which were scrutinised on November 7. The candidature was allowed to be withdrawn until November 9.
