New Delhi: After some high-end political meetings and speculations being made about who will be crowned as the next chief minister of Chhattisgarh, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday hinted that the party is sorted and will soon announce the name with mutual consent. As he did before announcing names of CM in both Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Gandhi took to Twitter and posted a picture with all frontrunners of Chhattisgarh’s top post. “No matter how brilliant your mind or strategy, if you’re playing a solo game, you’ll always lose out to a team,” Gandhi tweeted along with a photograph with Bhupesh Baghel, TS Singh Deo, Tamradhwaj Sahu and Charan Das Mahant.

After speculations being made that Congress will announce the CM face of Chhattisgarh on Saturday, state-in-charge PL Punia told news agency ANI that the official announcement will be made on Sunday. “A meeting will be held at 12 pm tomorrow. Then we will inform (Chief Minister candidate for Chhattisgarh). Governor has given us the time of 4:30 pm on December 17 for the oath ceremony. So what’s the hurry?,” the news agency quoted Punia as saying.

Earlier, Gandhi had tweeted photos with unique captions after sorting out the leadership issues in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. After taking a final call on Madhya Pradesh CM face, Gandhi tweeted, “The two most powerful warriors are patience and time” along with a photograph of him with Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia.

“The united colours of Rajasthan,” Gandhi tweeted, along with a photograph with Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot after finalising the new chief minister of Rajasthan. Soon after winning Assembly elections by a massive mandate in Chhattisgarh, Congress president attended a series of meetings with senior leaders in Chhattisgarh and New Delhi.

Under Gandhi’s leadership, Congress uprooted the 15-year rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chhattisgarh by winning 68 out of 90 assembly seats after results announced on December 11.
