Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday took the helm of the Congress party's Vijayabheri Yatra in Mulugu district, Telangana, as they embarked on a significant journey to connect with the local populace.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made a visit to the historic Ramappa Temple, located in Telangana's Mulugu district. The temple, renowned for its architectural and cultural significance, drew the attention of the Congress leaders during their visit, which is part of their ongoing engagement for the November 30 assembly polls in Telangana.

While Priyanka is expected to return to New Delhi following the rally, Rahul is expected to continue attending events in the state, according to a PTI report.
Danasari Anasuya, Congress MLA from Mulugu, told PTI that Rahul Gandhi will spend the night in Bhupalpally.
"They will arrive at Ramappa temple at 4.30 PM and address a public meeting around 5 PM. There will then be a bus yatra up to Bhupalpally (about 30 kilometres)," she explained.
According to Congress sources, the three-day yatra will begin on October 18 and will visit eight constituencies.
According to the report, Rahul will meet with Singareni Collieries workers and attend public meetings in Peddapalli and Karimnagar (night halt) on October 19.
On October 20, he will participate in a farmers' meeting in Jagtial, as well as programmes in Armoor and Nizamabad.
Rahul Gandhi is also expected to visit the Nizam Sugar Factory in Bodhan and meet with turmeric and sugarcane farmers in Armoor during his Telangana tour.
