Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing attack against Congress and the National Conference while addressing a rally in Katra in Jammu and Kashmir.
PM Modi said Pakistan is happy from the manifesto of the Congress-National Conference alliance and added that the agenda of the two parties is same as that of Pakistan.
Referring to the remarks made by Khwaja Asif, Modi said that the Pakistan's Defence Minister is happy with openly supported their manifesto.
"They are declaring that they will bring back Article 370. They want to return to the era of bloodshed. The neighboring country is asking questions about it. Pakistan seems to be happy with the Congress-National Conference's manifesto. The Defence Minister of Pakistan has openly supported it. The agenda of Congress and the National Conference aligns with Pakistan's agenda," PM Modi said in the rally in Katra.
He said that the Pakistan has itself exposed the Congress and the National Conference. He went on to say that the BJP government will not allow the implementation of Pakistan's agenda in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Pakistan itself has exposed the Congress and the National Conference. They wanted to implement Pakistan's agenda here... We will not allow the implementation of Pakistan's agenda in Jammu and Kashmir. No power in the world can bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. You need to establish a BJP government here that guarantees respect for farmers," Modi added.
PM Modi was referring to the remark of Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Asif who said that Pakistan and the NC-Congress alliance were on the same page when it came to the restoration of Article 370 in the Union Territory. The Pakistan minister's remark has led to a political row, with the BJP slamming the alliance for allegedly running the neighbouring country's agenda in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said there is great excitement over the alliance of the Congress and the National Conference in Pakistan.
PM Modi also hit out at Rahul Gandhi by saying that the Congress leader went abroad and said "Our deities are not gods."
"Congress can put our faith and culture at stake for a few votes anytime. Congress heir went abroad and said that our 'devi-devta' are not gods... It is an insult to our faith. Congress should be punished for this," Prime Minister Modi said during the rally in Katra.
Modi alleged that it was a planned conspiracy by the Congress leader and said that such remarks come from other religions and countries.
"They don't say all this just for the sake of it, or as a mistake. It is a planned conspiracy. It is a naxal mindset which has been imported from other religions and other countries... This naxal mindset of Congress insulted the Dogra culture of Jammu," he said.
The prime minister said that the Congress, under the guise of ‘Mohabatt ki Dukaan’, is spreading hate.
"Congress cannot see anything beyond its votebank. For the same reasons, they deepened the rift between Jammu and Kashmir, and always maintained a partial behaviour towards the state," the PM said.
He further said that the royal family of Congress is the most corrupt family in the country. The family is the originator of corruption and has been its promoter, he further said.
The rally in Katra comes ahead of the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls on September 25.
The upcoming elections will determine the future of Jammu and Kashmir. These elections are important to end the political legacy of the 3 families of Congress, NC and PDP which kept the state in ruins.
