A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive roadshow in Bhubaneswar on Friday, he is all set to address three public meetings in Odisha today. The first rally will be held in Kandhamal at 9.30 AM, followed by another rally in Bolangir at 11.30 AM. The third public meeting will be held in Bargarh at 1:00 PM. Lok Sabha and assembly elections will be held simultaneously in Odisha in four phases, beginning on May 13.

During the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections on May 13, polling will be held in four constituencies in Odisha including Kalahandi, Berhampur, Nabarangpur (ST), and Koraput (ST).

Previously, PM Modi visited Odisha on May 6, when he addressed two public meetings in Nabarangpur and Berhampur.

On May 10, the PM held a roadshow in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar which began from the saffron party's state headquarters near Sri Ram Mandir and concluded at Vani Vihar Square. PM Modi participated in the roadshow to showcase support for BJP candidates for the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat and seven other assembly segments, where polling will be held on May 25.

The roadshow witnessed the gathering of a large number of people, who cheered for the prime minister and waved cutouts of the BJP's election symbol 'lotus' as PM Modi greeted them from his open jeep.

Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha BJP candidate Aparajita Sarangi also accompanied PM Modi during the roadshow.

During the roadshow, PM Modi asserted that the people of Odisha have developed a “deep emotional connection” with the saffron party and will vote to ensure the party wins in the state, adding that they feel "disconnected with the BJD government".

In 2019, PM Modi had held a similar roadshow ahead Lok Sabha elections in Bhubaneswar.
