Lalu Prasad, head of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, stated on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is concerned about losing the Lok Sabha elections next year and is searching for refuge abroad, news agency PTI reported. Prasad made the remark when asked about Modi's "Quit India" remark made few days ago, when the PM accused opposition parties in the new alliance "INDIA" of corruption, nepotism, and appeasement tactics.
"It is Modi who is planning to quit... This is the reason why he is visiting so many countries. He is looking for a place where he can cool his heels and enjoy pizzas, momos and chow mein," he was quoted by PTI in its report.
Peals of laughter greeted the RJD supremo's wisecrack, whose ability to lighten a situation with earthy humour is famous. The elderly man made a rare public appearance at a function hosted by his elder son, Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav.

"We must keep the unity intact and defeat the BJP. Narendra Modi is trying to subvert the Constitution, but we shall foil the bid," Prasad said.
