In the Okhla assembly constituency, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has managed to maintain a slender lead in the early trends. As of 9:55 AM, BJP candidate Manish Chaudhary is ahead by 2,620 votes, while AAP, Congress, and AIMIM trail behind.

Okhla, a predominantly Muslim constituency, has been a stronghold of AAP’s Amanatullah Khan, who is the sitting MLA. However, with a three-way split in the Muslim vote—divided among AAP’s Amanatullah Khan, Congress’ Ariba Khan, and AIMIM’s Shifa Ur Rehman—the BJP appears to be benefiting from a consolidated vote bank.

Okhla Assembly 2025 Candidates
AAP has once again placed its faith in Amanatullah Khan, the sitting MLA, who has been given the ticket to contest from the Okhla assembly seat. He previously won the 2020 and 2015 assembly elections under the AAP banner.
For Congress, Ariba Khan, the current MLC from the Abul Fazal Enclave ward, is contesting the Okhla assembly election. She is the daughter of former Okhla MLA Asif Khan and the niece of current Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.
A new entrant in the Okhla assembly race is Shifa Ur Rehman, an undertrial candidate who has been given a ticket by Asaduddin Owaisi's party, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Shifa was arrested by Delhi Police in 2020 in connection with the Delhi Riots Conspiracy case.
The BJP has fielded Manish Chaudhry from the Okhla assembly seat. Before joining the BJP, Manish was affiliated with the Congress.
